Programs About Face! About Face! gives at-risk youth the tools they need to stay in school and get a job. We teach the skills employers tell us they want. Our "learn to do by doing" philosophy means students practice these skills in a real-life setting. Forward March This hands-on program teaches adult men and women job and life skills so they can make the move from welfare to work. Forward March participants also practice job-search skills and business skills in a real-life setting. GED Plus Short-term, high intensity GED preparation designed to work with out-of-school students lacking a high school diploma and demonstrating a 9th grade entry academic level. The outcome is securing a GED. You Can Be Fit Young people learn how to work toward a healthy lifestyle with this combination of physical exercise and instruction. Students discover how to add fitness and good nutrition to their daily routine, tracking their progress throughout the program. Breathe Easy A unique smoking prevention program that helps young people make their own decisions about tobacco use. Students participate in fun activities, with little lecture time. Package includes motivational items and workbooks to keep.         Working Basics Working Basics teaches 120 basic skills that are essential to the workplace, such as effective communication and prioritizing work tasks. Students learn each skill in a module, culminating with a quiz to measure competency. It's Up To Me This complete program helps teens discover their own reasons for avoiding alcohol and drug abuse. Creative activities give students good reasons to just say "no." Community Allstars - Community Service Project Guide Participants learn how to choose, plan, promote and execute a meaningful community service project. This program includes tracking forms, checklists and guidelines to help the group organize the project and schedule tasks. Workplace Adventure Give youth pre-employment skills and life skills in a fun environment with work-based activities, not lectures. Workplace Adventure is a one-of-a-kind product that produces results every time. Life Skills This interactive software program teaches basic life survival skills. Young people and adults apply what they've learned in a simulation in which they have just landed a first job and are starting out on their own. Work Prep Give first-time job seekers a heads-up for acceptable behaviour in the working world. Students learn how to meet employers' expectations through short, self-paced modules they can complete alone or with instruction. High School Competency Tests (HSCT) Our training program for U.S. public school students who need to pass High School Competency Tests (HSCT) to obtain a diploma or GED. This software package provides instruction, testing, and tracking in 21 required competency areas. Reclaim Here's a useful way for students to gain specific job skills and provide community service. They learn to operate a recycling center using surplus business materials that would otherwise go to landfills. DECISIONS A pregnancy prevention program with a difference: Students, not teachers, lead discussions about parenting, responsible fatherhood and sexuality.
