About Face! program to at-risk youth in Washington, D.C. Learners in the program acquire essential academic, career, and life skills, all of which which manifest themselves in literacy and numeracy gains, responsible and healthy choices, and career preparation.

Florida National Guard

Florida National Guard

On behalf of the Florida National Guard, Paxen delivers a pair of programs that educate learners about key academic, life, and career skills. Known as About Face! and Forward March, the programs equip learners with essential skills that lead to academic enrichment, responsible choices, and pre-employment training. Paxen delivers the twin programs at sites in Tallahassee, Orlando, and Miami.

Paxen partners with Home Builders Institute (HBI) to deliver Operation Reconstruct, a pre-vocational and occupational skills training program based in Louisiana. Unemployed and underemployed candidates build skills and transition to full-time employment through HBI’s apprenticeship program. Upon successful completion of the program, learners receive an industry-recognized credential.

Paxen partners with the Military Personnel Services Corporation (MPSC) in the design and delivery of key educational services programming for the National Guard Bureau and other government organizations.

   

National Guard Bureau

Such efforts have included GED Plus, an accelerated and innovative approach to preparation for the GED Tests. The program, delivered since 2006 at Camp Robinson in Arkansas, produces unparalleled success rates and helps ready recruits for careers in the National Guard.
