It's Up To Me

It’s Up To Me lets students share information and experiences about alcohol and drugs without feeling judged. Students take part in activities that help them uncover facts about substance abuse.

Students in this program learn:

• To look at the consequences of using drugs and alcohol.
• To examine the real costs of those behaviors to themselves and others.
• To identify triggers that cause teens to try drugs and to drink alcohol.
• To develop a strong defense for choosing to say, “no.”

The program also involves parents/guardians/mentors with a special journal activity designed to strengthen the relationships that help keep kids drug-free.
