In Conway, learners in Paxen’s 21st-century program receive a well-rounded series of educational experiences that includes academic enrichment in key tested areas such as Reading and Mathematics. Students in the program also receive exposure to postsecondary options through tours of area industries and local colleges.

The program, offered in conjunction with the North Carolina National Guard, leads to literacy and numeracy gains for students who wish to catch up, get ahead, or simply remain on-target. They also develop key skills in the areas of critical thinking, responsible living, and experiential learning.

Academic Skills

Paxen’s programs in the areas of academic enrichment, credit recovery, and accelerated GED® preparation provide learners with a variety of options for continuing or completing their educations.
