Learns ages 13 to 17 in Paxen's About Face! after-school program receive high-quality, hands-on tutoring and personal attention through a customized curriculum, small-groups, and individualized student-teacher instruction.

This program is supported by its partners: the National Guard, the Departments of Labor (DOL), and Health and Human Services (HHS). About Face! has educated more than 31,000 at-risk youth since the program's inception in 1997.

Our Community Connections program provides youth ages 14 to 19 — referred to us by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice —  with a combination of evidence-based services, gender-responsive delinquency interventions, case management, community supervision, service projects, and life skills trainings.

Each weekday from noon until 8 pm, Paxen's staff provides materials such as GED Test Preparationand Career Pathways to help youth study for their GED® credential, prepare for the workforce, and master key skills in the area of interpersonal and group dynamics. In addition, eligible youth receive assistance in securing and sustaining employment through job placement and post-placement efforts.
