Big Island

On the Big Island, Paxen provides an array of educational services. For example, learners in our About Face! program, which occurs after school, receive high-quality, hands-on training and personal attention through a customized curriculum and small-group and individualized instruction.

Paxen also provides a second chance for learners ages 18 to 24 seeking to transition back into society following a period of incarceration or probation. In so doing, Paxen's expert educators provide instruction in accelerated GED preparation, life skills, and career skills. Learners in the program also give back to their towns through an emphasis on community services.

The result: Every Paxen student develops a comprehensive understanding of skills and strategies vital to independent, healthy, and responsible living.
